opening for the
position of
Director of Finance
& Administration

A bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance is required, a CPA certification is preferred but not required. A minimum five years experience in general accounting and managerial duties is necessary. Managerial duties include supervision of multiple departments within the Cooperative administrative area including accounting and payroll, member records, billing, information technology and human resources.

The Director of Finance & Administration is responsible for the monthly general ledger and financial reporting to the board of directors, payroll, accounts payable and cashier. Other duties include coordinating the annual audit, budgeting, managing debt portfolio.

Salary will depend on the candidates qualifications and work experience but a very competitive salary along with an excellent benefits package are available. Swisher Electric is a rural electric distribution cooperative serving members in six counties in the Texas panhandle.
